How to protect your jewellery from tarnishing?

Jewellery made from stainless steel and silver is extremely durable and resistant to tarnishing, but can still lose its shine with improper care or exposure to unfavourable conditions.

1. Store your jewellery properly

Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Moisture and high temperatures accelerate tarnishing. Avoid bathrooms and high-humidity areas. Store separately in a divided box or soft pouch.

2. Remove jewellery before physical activity

Physical activity and contact with harsh chemicals can affect the appearance of your jewellery. Chlorine, cleaning products, perfumes and lotions cause tarnishing.

3. Clean regularly

For stainless steel: Warm water and mild soap solution, soft brush, thorough rinsing, wipe with microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks — baking soda and water.

For 925 silver: Special cleaning solution or homemade mix (1:3 baking soda and water with lemon juice), apply with cloth, rinse and dry.
